ELDERS' HOME IN IMBULANDANDA
Imbulandada is a village situated a few miles away from Matale on the Matale - Danbulla Road. A home for the Elders has been established several years ago which accommodated 23 elderly people. There was a request to construct a building to accommodate ten more inmates. The SLBA under look to build this building with finance from Adopted Sri Lanka Belgium spending Rs. 2,075,000 in 2011. This was declared open by Mrs. Linda Stabel the President by Adoptie Sri Lanka Belgium. Subsequently there was a request to partition the building with suitable curtain to accommodate the ten new in mates. This was completed by the SLBA spending Rs. 60,860/= out of savings accumulated.
