The Sri lanka council for blind for over 2 decades were trying to collect funds to the house their headquarters, but without success. Then came the golden offer from a Belgium couple John and Lyn Van Dijck, who readily agreed to fund the entire construction of the 2 storied building at Sarana Mawatha Rajagriya. It is fully equipped for the use of the blind. Marga company also made a generous contribution of rupees one million to the president of the sri lanka council for the blind.
